The Oscar goes to...

Right off the top I have to say I think Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin did a fantastic job as hosts of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. I laughed out loud a couple of times...especially when Steve referred to Helen Mirren as "that Dame Helen Mirren".

Outside of the big winners like Katheryn Bigelow, Sandra Bullock & Jeff Bridges, there were a few that stood out to me on the stage.

First off, poor Molly Ringwald, she looked TERRIFIED as she helped Matthew Broderick pay tribute to the late John Hughes.

Secondly, Ben Stiller who came out as an Avatar...well, outside of the makeup job, it wasn't a very funny bit...his jokes didn't get much laughter and he seem to keep trying..big no no.

And thirdly, my favorite moment is when “Music by Prudence” short film producer Elinor Burkett “pulled a Kanye” when she rushed up on stage after the Documentary Short award was announced and grabbed the microphone away from director-producer Roger Ross Williams, exclaiming, “Let the woman talk. Isn’t that the classic thing?”
